The Iditarod presents the greatest opportunity for long distance mushing. The long trails through the northern wilderness are calling the Elevation Sled Dogs. That is the vision and the plan, to compete and win, on the long trails in the north.
The ultimate goal is to be THE FIRST CANADIAN TEAM TO WIN THE IDITAROD TRAIL SLED DOG RACE.
To accomplish this goal will take a huge commitment and possibly many years. The Elevation dogs and mushers have the courage to go for it! This special event draws the very best mushers in the world together. This is a truly international event taking place every March in Alaska.
To achieve this goal, TEAMWORK becomes the theme!
It takes a Team of People and Dogs pulling together. To condition and train the team and to prepare all of the food shipments, organize gear and logistics requires a great effort, YOU CAN SPONSOR BY PROVIDING THESE ITEMS.
